This week’s song is a mix of old and new. It’s kind of hard to take something that’s as iconic and well-known like “Staying Alive” by the Bee-Gees and give it a modern twist that adds something interesting to it. But this take by Wyclef Jean and the Refugee Allstars does just that: it takes the classic Bee-Gees song and gives it that modern twist that brings this song into our modern rhythm.
Things have slowed down a little bit for me lately, so I guess it’s no coincidence that I picked a song called ‘Staying Alive’ to aptly describe my life lately. Anyways, hope you enjoy it!
